Gen X wizards using phrases like “methinks.” The average birth year of posters was in the 1980s just like this now. It was kind of like the days of medieval peasantry. Although life was more, say, rudimentary than today, people could have their needs met on like 400 hours of work a year, leaving time to debate Consoles on the internet or get enraptured in pyramid schemes or go to the mall. Malls pre-ITE were filled with people 7 days a week. They always had arcades in them. And the golden age of arcades was always behind us. No one has ever gone into an arcade and played straight-up mortal Kombat or Street fighter. It was always some other bullshit.
