It is legitimately a 180 movie because it accomplishes exactly what it sets out to achieve. Faithful retelling of story with good songs and performances by Caine and Goelz. Funny but not too corny (the sam the eagle part is a highlight) . Plus it quotes more from the book than any other version I’ve seen
Honestly one of my favorite movies of all time |
