20 years ago it made sense to have huge sales on loss leaders to get people in your shop to spend money.
What is the point of BestBuy.com offering a TV for $100? People aren't going to buy anything else from BestBuy.com if it isn't cheaper than Walmart.com
Makes much more sense for everyone to try and discount stuff like 5-10% and induce them to just buy it that week through them. |
