"They will set in special forces to take airports and stuff, then fly in troops"
ok. . .so how would the Special Forces make it through one of the most heavily fortified countries with enough firepower to seize important strategic assets?
I'm pretty sure Taiwan would notice a couple dozen boats filled with militarybros and tactical gear just casually landing on their shores

"PS notice how TT ADMITS China's strategy involves killing hundreds of thousands of innocent Taiwanese people up front."
Protip: this happens in every war. We nuked Hiroshima and Nagasaki and firebombed Tokyo and Dresden in WW2. We blew up most of Falluja in Iraq. We oops drone kill civilians all the time in Pakistan, Afghanistan, etc.
This is why pushing China on Taiwan was a really bad idea.

"The only thing I can think of is a naval blockade."
Which would be countered by U.S. Naval forces that would easily break the blockade and provide weapons/supplies to Taiwan via air.
the second China fires one missle at an American plane, that boat is sunk

Taiwan has the advantage of having spent many decades preparing its military for one and only one scenario. For example, they have anti-ship missiles coming out the wazoo, many of them small and mobile ones that will be very difficult for China to target.
I expect China watched very closely how Ukraine has forced Russian ships to stay far away from the Ukrainian coast with a handful of harpoon missiles.
It would take a LOT of guts for China to place all their chips on an amphibious operation in the face of that kind of opposition and the inherent uncertainties of war. Life is too good in China right now for them to risk it on something like that.
