The reconstructed chamber has three or four known inaccuracies like drains in the wrong spot because the builders remade walls in the wrong spot and holes in the roof that they just made up when they realized the "showerhead gas" idea didn't make sense so pivoted to the theory that pellets were dropped through holes in the ceiling
There were meticulous death records released when Soviet archives were unsealed that showed <100K deaths through 1943 at Auschwitz. Until that point it was assumed 4 million were killed there because that's what the Soviets immediately declared in 1945 after liberating Auschwitz. Jewish holoscholars generously lowered the Auschwitz death toll to 1.5 million (they changed the plaque at the camp). Total was still 6 million though, that didn't change.
Simple math on the furnace coke shipments also point to <100K cremations being possible. The 44 furnace muffles installed also would only last around 3,000 cremations each before needing a total replacement which requires a rebuild of the entire furnace and there were zero indications in the meticulous supply records that replacement muffles were ever sent.
The British cracked German codes by 1941 and had massive amounts of intercepts from Germans talking about the labor camps. Literally none of these indicate any sort of homicidal intent. In late 1943 Chairman of the British Joint Intelligence Committee Victor Cavendish-Bentinck wrote a letter to the allies saying he thought Jews and the Poles were just making shit up to stir them up and they were "making a mistake to give credence" to the gas chamber story.
The Germans also sent letters about the labor camps, with Pohl sending Himmler multiple on the state of the camps in late 1943. Most of what he talks about are their efforts to reduce death rate. They spoke a ton of about how bad the typhus outbreaks were. This is also seen in the death rates from the Soviet archives - there is a huge spike and then they sharply fall once the Zyklon delousing ramped up.
Multiple teams of researchers in the 80s and 90s clandestinely took samples from the walls in the acknowledged delousing chambers (which are blue btw, which is what you would expect) and the supposed gas chambers (not blue btw) and they found dramatically more cyanide residue in the delousing chambers, literally a 2000x ppm difference.
