Trump took a gamble that they could hit them hard and decisively enough that they would politically collapse/give in. That initial gamble didn't work so now there's effectively a boat race where Trump is betting on the US+Israel can degrade the Iranian state faster than Iran can blow up the global economy. Who will win? Time will tell. |
