I did once, and it was crazy fucking close, like a 5% difference in marketcap at the peak

I don't anymore, not for the next year at least anyway. If ETH can scale, its dapps get real use, and POS launches, I may revisit that

A quick flash where ETH overcomes btc in the next few months wouldn't surprise me, but without those 3 conditions I don't expect it to stay #1

would it make sense to include all of Ethereum's children (e.g., EOS). if so it could've already happened

Where does BTC go from here? ETH promises to be so much more than a payment system. How does BTC compete with that? Additionally what plan(s) does BTC have to rectify the problems it faces with scaling/transaction time/energy use, etc?

short term still the moon prob since that is the only vehicle for institutional holders to get involved in the space

Bitcoin's demise has been exaggerated a few times now

Why wouldn't they get involved with ETH? BTC might have brand name recognition, but institutional investors are going to be a little more savvy than that.

They may in the longer term. We're talking about billions and billions of dollars of institutional money here. They're not going to participate directly through binance or some shit but rather via futures and ETFs traded on regulated exchanges.

Bitcoin is significantly further along than any other coin. I can absolutely see it touching both $40,000 and $7,000 this year
