The "X" benefit isn't going to be that big -- it's a little bit more Thor, but it's in the benefit of Vechain and its holders for Thor to be cheap to encourage adoption of it. The actual ROI from these dividends are going to be disappointing to the moon boys. Also, a US citizen, the special treatment for ICOs might not matter for me.
A better move would have been to have 6k set aside to hold for the base node, and flip the 4k on the (expected) run-up leading to the 20th, and buying back in if it crashes after the snapshot date. I just can't be fucked trading anymore. |
