basically you download chrome and install metamask extension. metamask is a wallet app. you put eth in metamask wallet or just load your current mew into it. it does multiple wallets. then you unlock it and go to etherdelta site. then you go to the deposit tab and type in eth and click deposit. then you wait a few minutes and click submit when the little metamask window pops up. then it gives you a transaction hash that tells you when your eth has hit the ed wallet. then you click an order and buy it. then you go to the withdraw tab and type in the number in the token box and hit withdraw and wait and click submit when metamask pops up |

i started out with maybe 30% of my net worth, but crypto has exploded to become like 90%+. my analysis would be the same if i just put 90% of my net worth as fresh capital to start. if a coin looks good, i’ll invest. if i need cash on hand or i see no good opportunities, i’d leave the space |

Even if you take out 90%, leave that last 10% in for the ride. In the long run, it might end up being worth more than the other 90%, and even though in that case you'll hate yourself for sellcucking you'll at least be able to slightly forgive yourself for having the foresight to leave *some* in. Conversely, if you lose the last 10%, who cares--you already came out ahead with the other 90%, and you can consider it a small price to pay for peace of mind as a hedge against the former possibility (which would have left you wanting to jump off a bridge had it come to fruition). |
