Date: February 14th, 2018 1:16 PM Author: soggy ticket booth I got one of those from huobi a while back before I ever registered there. Freaked me the fuck out. I assumed one or all was true:
1) the fact that they had my email means that they somehow knew I traded crypto, which likely means a data leak of some kind from another exchange I did have an account on; 2) they sent a fake Huobi email to that email address to phish for my huobi password, in the event I had one; 3) it was a legit email from huobi because they had signed up using my email address, which they got from whatever security breach explains #1
