Couple of points:
1) Korea is protectionist as FUCK. I think there will come a day when they give preferential treatment for purchasing the home grown shit. I think it's mid to long term prospects are good because of this. Note, something like 1/3 employed Koreans own crypto, and on average they've invested $6,000ish dollars.
2) This is anecdotal, but a shitton of people in Korea that I know are waiting to buy this shit.

Using $50K as the amount to be invested, say other assets are:
Real estate equity $400K (rentals and primary residence)
Retirement accounts $400K (mostly stocks, some bonds)
Taxable stocks $50K
Liquid cash (other than the amount for crypto) $50K

yeah dude 50k for crypto makes sense.
id recommend this portfolio in descending allocation: eth, btc, monero/zcash, zil, tezos (if its launched this summer). maybe then pick two smaller projects that seem interesting and put a small amount in both.
HODL and dont sell for at least a year. maybe do some ICOs
