No, I got mono the week before the CA bar. I was barely able to get out of bed and walk around my house the week of the CA bar. I withdrew from the exam and got a refund.

What do you think bro? I figure I have 2 options: some sort of shitty law "internship" where i don't get paid just to have some more experience under my belt/keep me busy for a few months before i take the bar in february. This is likely what I'll end up doing

or 2) look for some other kind of job outside of law (but what? I don't know where to start or where to even look).

i used to be really in to lifting, but then hit depression and i haven't been in the gym CONSISTENTLY for about 2 years now, but did go on and off.

i want to get back in to it. do you think 20 rep squats with gomad is a good idea for me? that was by far my favorite program, but i am afraid it might cause some imbalances in my muscles especially since i have been so sedentary as of late.

You don't want to start with 20 rep squats, brother. Sounds like You'd get some kind of overuse injury doing high rep sets like that after taking so much time off.. Start off with something like 3x5 and add weight every time you're in the gym- start light bro. Sets of 5 are just a really efficient way to gain a lot of strength for a beginner. Just eat a lot and drink a lot of milk. look into starting strength and similar beginner lifting programs.

man, starting strength and the other linear progression stuff just really bore me. the 20 rep program made me feel super human, really happy, fixed most of my depression issues, and packed on muscle super quickly. could you recommend me a program though? emphasis on simplicity, and nothing with too many excercises or reps, and three days a week.
