You could grow up in Des Moines, go to Iowa State and still be close enough to home to keep in touch with your friends that didn't go to college, do your laundry at your parent's home, etc.
Yet you're also far enough away from the city that you can have a normal college experience, get drunk, high, etc. without your parents or anyone else really hearing about what you're up to. |
