Younger guy taught World History. Was a moderate "90s lib" but now he's insane on FB, full shitlib. Still teaching. Can't imagine attending school now. |

I had a chill (black) Vietnam vet history teacher in 7th grade who seemed to be anti-shitliberalism and was a major disciplinarian.
He only taught at the school for 3 years. (His style clashed with the administration, I'm sure he'd have paddled us for misbehavior if he could have.)
Wonder where he's at with all this today. Come to think of it, wonder if he's still alive. |

He made sexist jokes often. He was definitely conservative and his bias came through alot. Was heavily against multi-culturalism and went on a rant about how the United States isn't a melting pot anymore and that we're a salad bowl. Everything is kept separate and new immigrants don't bother integrating. That always stuck with me as a teenager. One of the shitlib girls in my class hated him and talked to administration about it and you could feel the tension between the two in class. I ran into him at a bar 10 years later when I was intown visiting my parents and bought him a beer. He apparently had gotten forced out of teaching and worked for the county in their athletics department.
AP World History teacher was a younger Jewish guy in his late 20s. Was universally viewed as the "cool teacher" but looking back he was really cringey. He did put alot of effort into his class and you ended up learning alot. I got a 5 on the exam. At the time he seemed unbiased politically speaking, but he probably had a heavily Jewish slant in how he taught history. He ended up getting promoted to administration and is now a Principal at another HS. |

He’d then say in that country, there was a guy who was thinking to himself “I want to be like George Washington.” Except he’d do it in a speedy Gonzalez voice. We’d all have a good chuckle and he’d go on to point out that America was the country that all other countries looked to and we needed to be sure to understand our history as a result.
I distinctly remember him suggesting once that a lot of dinosaur bones were fake and/or extrapolations of them just finding a tooth. Some Indian girl whose parents were doctors did all this research to confront him about how wrong he was. He didn’t give a shit about her research |

Juneteenth is an interesting historical artifact. The other stuff is kids stuff for elementary school. |
