The concerns I saw were the lung damage - which also happens with a severe case of bronchitis for example.
The other one that got attention was a paper showing some cognitive fog or w/e in some covid group - but from what I remember from that paper was that this was just a straight up comparison that didn't even make an attempt to control for the propensity to get covid / display more severe symptoms in the first place.
I think it was something like severity of symptoms were associated with lower cognitive test scores - in other words, it's not really surprising that people with more vulnerable immune systems would score lower on those cognitive tests, covid or not. (iirc they might have compared by age group - but that's still not surprising that the people within the same age brackets who have the most compromised immunities, higher rates of obesity etc would score lower on cognitive assessments)
I think you're probably still right in general though but I'm pretty conflicted - because just as I'm unsure about a vaccine without having observed long-term outcomes, so too should we be concerned with some fking china virus that obviously came from a lab doing gain of function research.
There was a good thread about this on Twitter how you don't even need to be a virologist to make this argument about lab leak - just from a purely Bayesian analysis you'll arrive at very strong belief that it was a lab-leak, just knowing that the horseshoe bat isn't native to Wuhan and the nearest colonies were like 1000 miles away or something, and that the virus literally 'originated' right next to one of only two labs in the world that were doing this gain of function research on coronaviruses... I mean wtf - gain of function research literally involves placing positive selection pressures on microorganisms to effect their mutations in a way that increases transmissibility - the rationale being so they can study them better to get ahead of possible pandemics (lol). This is how stupid they think we are - that the fact this new coronavirus originates right next to one of the only two labs in the world where they're doing research that involves supercharging transmissibility of coronaviruses... |

Because remember - the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are that RNA shit that they inject so that your body attacks the spike protein , whereas the others I believe, but J&J for sure - is a 'traditional' vaccine that essentially injects you with a super small amount of the virus for your body to react to. So the people who died from the J&J shot would've likely died from covid I believe, or had similar risk - b/c it wasn't the vaccine per se it was the virus that gave them the blood clot (I'm not 100% on this but this was my understanding)
That's still not to say I'm not super skeptical of these fucking vaccines - no long term testing / observation per usual - and just the fact that the elites pushing the vaccine makes me skeptical just b/c they seem to be wrong about everything in last few years, while managing to be malicious to boot
OTOH - see my post above about the lab leak, I'm not sure that shouldn't freak me out every bit as much as an untested vaccine..... the fact that you're going to catch some coronavirus that was intentionally manipulated via some gain of function research in a wuhan lab....
Just going by intuition though - I think it's pretty natural for younger healthy(ish) people to look around and notice they've survived a world overrun by this supposedly deadly virus during this pandemic - a disease which seems to pose almost no risk to those in decent health, meanwhile a vaccine pops up out of nowhere, is novel in terms of this RNA shit, and in contrast to the world that has been very survivable for over a year during the pandemic - seems risky in the unknown , untested haste in which it was produced - and just seems like this unknown shit they want to inject into your arm whilst the disease seems very survivable. I dunno - fuck the chinese tho - it's unbelievable that more people aren't seething mad at China literally ruining the world like this with that shit - they'd rather blame republicans for not wearing masks or something |
