Fastest at what? 0-60, 1/4 mile, 1 lap track time, rallying offroad?

On average the 2021 Corvette probably has the best all round price to performance

You are correct and with no other options you can squeak it under $70k. The hellcat could be faster with new wider rubber, but the widebody pack still doesn't fit wide enough tires and will do a rolling burnout all the way to 100 if you keep your foot in it.

I like to drive fast and was looking hard at the Model 3 DM, but really turned off by the styling, interior and sps handling. Also hate the idea of driving slow to conserve battery. That mental barrier would ruin the entire experience. I really like the Model X but at the current price would get a G wagon over it without hesitating.

Have you test-driven the DM or Performance? Can get a DM and pay $2K for the performance boost instead of the Performance model. If you notice, most auto manufacturers are shifting to Tesla-like interior with less buttons/knobs and just bigger screens.

Why would you need to conserve battery? The range for DM is 360. Even if you blast the AC and drive like an asshole you will get 250 on it so why would you worry about running out of juice? You should test drive the Model Y.

Model Y looks like a late model Prius mated with a VW bug. Just totally uninspired and pragmatic looking.

Admittedly I haven't driven any yet but can you honestly say they're going to handle like a $70k sports sedan/coupe with AWD, 400 lb/ft torque, and 8 gears?

Test drive the Model 3 DM or Performance and then say a comparable $70K car is better.

You realize when you drive fast in an ICE car, taht it also uses fuel at a faster rate per mile?

It's not something you'd ever think about unless your tank was almost empty. With the Tesla you're never not thinking about it because it's annoying to charge a car, takes up significant time, and I don't want a daily routine where I plug my car in every single time I come home.

fair. it's pretty stupid that these electric cars don't have standardized batteries that you just remove and replace. that could occur at gas stations, but it's inexcusable that you can't charge used batteries at home

just how fast/sporty is the TLX actually?

acura has a pretty bad reputation for just making the minimum viable "luxury" car and not really pushing any engineering or innovation beyond that.

yes, I know Honda type S stuff has a pretty good reputation in terms of some models, but my dad has owned a couple of TL's and they've all been real POS crapbox's IME. the MDX is like the only car acura makes that has a good reputation.
