But we can beat our heads against the wall, poasting about Tinder and shrews, and it fails to address the basic issue. The large majority of women who get married do so by their early 30's, and probably get into a marriage track relationship by their late 20's. If you're a standard bachelor poaster who's 37 and looking for a soulmate, your options are limited. The most natural matches are those within a few years of your own age. But LJL at digging through that bargain bin. You need to find a woman from her mid 20's to her very early 30's. But these women, again, tend to look at guys within a few years of their own ages.
I'm definitely not saying marriages can't happen for this group. I'm also not pretending to have any brilliant solutions. What I do know is that non-standard problems, such as ours, when attacked with standard methods, such as swiping on Bumble, will tend to produce substandard results. We have to think outside the box. |
