Saw a discussion about "transfer on death deeds" where the resolution was that the children of a predeceased beneficiary did not get the benefit of the deed, and the deed was apportioned only to the 3 surviving beneficiaries.
Anti lapse statute would seem to prevent this. I assume it does not because the stature does not apply to the "transfer on death" probate avoidance strategy?
