No alcohol, no meat, tobacco, smoke/vape whatever. Recently started on caffeine to help with job but I hope to quit the job soon.

In the morning I drink water and do a workout for about 90 mins. Normally at home -- if I happen to have gym access I am in the gym. Depending on my schedule I will do cardio for 30 to 60 mins after that or later in the afternoon. I rotate daily upper/lower/abs. On upper days and lower days I still do ten mins of abs to ensure I stimulate abs daily.

I tend to eat in chunks of 150-300 calories throughout the day. Haven't eaten more than 2k in a day in a long time except for while on vacation.

Prioritize 8 hours of sleep per day when possible. Overnight shifts make this often impossible but again hopefully that's temporary.

What I need to start doing is stretching. I used to do this without fail before coming home from deployment but home workouts made it feel optional.

I have a protein shake twice a day, after workouts as applicable, and a cup of green tea every day sometimes two.

- VITAMIN PILL ORGANIZER. If ur like me and take a bunch of random stuff that probably doesn't work, you spend 4-months of your life opening pills boxes by the time u die

I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I’ll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.”

starting this off by saying i usually incorporate a decent amount of running into my workouts but i've badly sprained my ankle twice since spring (second time due to weakened peroneal muscles from the first sprain). had never severely sprained my ankle before this spring and recovery takes like a month. there's also a lot of gross swelling and bruising that results from these sprains.

so, to answer your question:

i usually eat two eggs for breakfast no matter what. i'll make coffee a few times a week.

today i rode the stationary bike, did various exercises using 8lb dumbells, did about seven minutes of ab exercises using my own body weight. i was super tired today for some reason but since i can't run, i'll do drills like high-knees in place super fast and (4-6 x 15 seconds... it will actually make you super out of breath and you should feel your muscles burn).

one key thing i've learned as far as eating goes is that if you focus on consuming enough healthy foods, the rest of your diet will fall into place. you won't crave junk foods if you've been eating substantial, filling, healthy, unprocessed foods all day. i eat fast food if i want it (maybe like once a week max). beef and seafood are great. i mix lemonade with water and drink a lot of that.

lmao i'm a former d1 endurance athlete and i know more about health and fitness than you ever will. i can't do much physically right now because my ankle is messed up. tried coming back from injury too quickly a few weeks ago and sprained it again. currently doing exercises specifically targeting the weakened area around the sprain under guidance of MDs. check yourself

If you know about health then you must know that endurance is flame as it relates to fitness.

High intensity interval training provides all the benefits plus some more, and also you don't blow out your knees/joints.

Strength training ditto- way better for you than endurance bullshit.

i don't run 65-85 miles a week anymore but i was going on regular, casual 5mi runs before i stepped on a rock and snapped my ligament this spring. well-aware of the downsides of distance running long-term, especially for females, which is why i don't run 9mi a day anymore and haven't since college

This is the current fad in fitness influence right now, but it's not true. Hiit burns fewer calories and is (obviously) a bigger recovery burden than liis--not sure where you got that theory from. Yeah. People need to understand there’s no hidden key to a perfect workout routine. Of course you want to exercise moderation when it comes to endurance workouts and of course it’s good to mix in sprints and the like because each type of workout has its own benefits and targets different muscle groups. You don’t need a weird acronym for it. For example, after longer, more leisurely runs, it’s standard to do sets of “strides” (which aren’t full-out sprints but are fast bounds that emulate sprinting). Then there are separate days set aside for short and mid-length full-intensity workouts. Other days are set aside for low-impact cross-training (bike, elliptical, swimming, rowing). On top of that, abs and weights should be done regularly to train the upper body. Not everyone prioritizes running as their workout of choice but that’s just an example. Variety, moderation, and tailoring routines to individuals is nothing new.
