Notice the ALL CAPS I added:
The Sunshine State had 10,207 people hospitalized ****WITH**** confirmed COVID-19 cases, according to data reported to the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services.
The previous record was from July 23, 2020, more than a half-year before vaccinations started becoming widespread, when Florida had 10,170 hospitalizations, according to the Florida Hospital Association.
Florida is now leading the nation in per capita hospitalizations ****FOR**** COVID-19, as hospitals around the state report having to put emergency room visitors in beds in hallways and others document a noticeable drop in the age of patients.

So I am not agreeing or disagreeing with you.
I have said forever that all that matters is 1. Deaths and 2. Hospitalization. Cases don’t matter. Maybe cases are predictive of 1 or 2 in a closed system (aka one jurisdiction) over a short period of time, but that’s all they can really do.
Maybe PCR is dogshit, but it tracks the same thing over time. You say they changed the cycle threshold recently but I have seen nothing to support that.

I don’t think so. If you look at UK data, the first statement WITH Covid makes a lot of sense.
If the UK/Israel data is remotely accurate and if delta has an R0 remotely close to what CDC thinks it is, it would not surprise me that nearly everyone >6 months from vaccine (aka all the olds) gets Covid in the hospital whether they showed up there or not. And the health care workers are now seeing lots of breakthrough infections (again >6 months since jabs). So we are back to healthcare being a vector of transmission. Funny how that works. Sucks for the unvaccinated olds and fats who are going to get pwn3d.
