We're going to make it home to Heaven, my friend! It might be a bumpy ride, but to paraphrase Saint Thomas More, we don't all go to Heaven on feather beds.
But what would a cosmic bootcamp be without a little turbulence: separating the wheat from the chaff, God's beautiful and crazy design: the master sculptor at work, to paraphrase C.S. Lewis.

Talk about great minds thinking alike, wow. Sly is hilarious despite (or perhaps because of?) his lack of acting ability.
And I LOVE Wild Strawberries, despite not being into much of Bergman's stuff. It's amazing how a work of art can be so uplifting and so sad at the same time: very much like this life in many ways:
We are in a vale of tears, yet surrounded with technicolor windows into Heaven, usually hiding in plain sight.
So we know Heaven, our true home, is out there: the Artist's fingerprints are everywhere, Easter eggs and bread crumbs leading us out of the enchanted forest of this fallen world.
Someday, all tears will be wiped away, and our broken nature will be healed and transformed, but that time, and that place, can sometimes seem so far away...
