I have to double my calories just to be able to ride a bike 2-4x per week. The cool thing is I can eat a ton of shit I would normally avoid, but I still hate having to get up at all times of the day to grab stupid carbs to compensate for all what I burnt.

Note: This is not a lose weight thread. I have a cyclist body, so I'm already thin as fuck. So don't get started with your bullshit.

You're probably only burning an extra ~1,000 calories a week.

That's like an apple and a half each day of the week.

How far are you buiking?

Probably around 30-60 miles per ride. The thing is not the miles, but the actual elevation. I do a lot of climbing.

Believe me, I need to eat a lot more than that, I am eating chocolate, peanut butter, and other carbs with fat to make me less hungry.

Nope, Garmin states I burn around 1,500 per ride, so that's around 3000 - 6000 per week.

NVR mind: I assumed you were doing bitch-made 45 minute rides a few times a week.

Also -- JFC, that's a stupid exercise protocol for basically ANY reasonable goal you may have.

Each week do 120 minutes of zone 2, 30 minutes of HIIT, and lift 2-3 days.

Get your body used to burning fat. I go on 100 mi rides with only nicotine gum two days a week.

Lol no way this is possible. What if I have no fat left? I really have very little body fat left now.

Fat adaptation comes from developing aerobic fitness. You might be leaner than me which is why it doesn’t work well for you. I only have coffee and nicotine gum. When I go on the 100 mi rides, I am going at a constant pace that isn’t too challenging (15-20 mph)
