shit just seems preposterous to me. i live in an "okay" town. i would even say a lower class town in my area. who the fuck is paying one mil to live here? |

Date: October 20th, 2021 12:44 AM Author: Talented Immigrant Wrinkle its preposterous. my block is basically a bunch of lifers and i'm "kinda" a lifer because i just bought my uncle's house when he bailed for PR so i got a great deal but had going there for damn near 40 years. my cousins are in town so i got locked into the blue collar lifers. we had a handful of people cash out during the beginning of covid but then up the block a bunch of for sale signs and then bulldozers. we have all these million dollar homes adjacent to the local private golf course. i dunno...maybe they have some deal with the golf club? but at least 7 new contructions within a couple of blocks walk. school system is "ok" and great if the measure is "safe and not a thunderdome." but it's mostly minority town that just so happens to be very quiet, clean and safe.
imho anyone paying over 450 to live here is out of their minds. maybe i don't understand anything anymore. |
