I've done it before, I think I'm just older/more ruinous now but I'm concerned with possibilities like passing out while driving, getting cotton-mouthed/low-IQ during job interviews, or getting ruinous Cramps. "Pain" in and of itself is of no consequence for me.

I'm at the point where I have no craving whatsoever for carbs and my shit is light-colored so I'm "there" basically imho, I should be past the "flu."

It's just ridiculous btw how I was more comfortable basically eating nothing during COVID than I am now. The hunger impulse is totally self-savotaging imho.

So I've cut coffee out completely. Caffeinated drinks have a tendency to be diuretics and make you piss too much, but coffee is the worst by far bc you shit.

i would argue that the modern diet is not normal or healthy. our bodies were not meant to eat massive amounts of carbs, which is what happened ever since human agriculture. as a species, we have gotten fat because of carb consumption and our bodies are storing all those carbs as fat. the original human diet which is still what our digestive system expects, is much closer to keto or atkins than the modern diet. carbs would have been a luxury, and stored as fat stores for lean times. our bodies still work this way today.

Keto is tough the first 2 weeks; you never quite feel full, but eventually it will hit you and then you're barely hungry even after insane workouts. diet should be 30% meat, 10% dairy, 50% fibrous veggies, and 10% oil/avocados. drink 1-2 gallons of water a day. no alcohol, no carbs (other than veggies) - you will lose crazy weight doing this. belly fat and love handles just melt off.
