Ashkenazim are all sufficiently northern to be light. LOL at the claims that their DNA has much to do with the Middle East. It’s pretty damn obvious that there was a bunch of intermarriage with Caucasian people. Same is true of Euros most of whom are descended from immigrants from north and east, but Jews are particularly invested in their national mythology.
On the other hand Sephardim are quite dark from an unknown mix of original Middle East DNA and different intermarriage patterns. |
