Butcher & Bee is a good place to eat, which is right next to there.
The Crying Wolf is a hipster bar that's right down the street if you wanna check out that scene.
Two Ten Jack is a good Japanese place in East Nashville.
The Fox Bar & Cocktail is nifty.
The Village Pub is also a hidden gem lots of locals visit.

Currently have sat dinner res at Peninsula, so was thinking we'll probably go out in the east end sat. Maybe do the downtown honky tonk tourist thing Sunday or even Monday if it's the kind of thing where they'll be a scene even on a Monday. Not really sure.
