There's also some not insignificant blood from what was probably Khazars. They all come from a very small founder population with a decent amount of inflow afterwards from other jewish groups.
They do not descend directly from the roman jews, but did largely come up through rome after the fall of the empire before going up to germany and then east. |

Phoenicians were highly diverse and had city states filled with a Phoenician upper class and a very dicerse lower class, so it's hard to make any connection to real Phoenicians.

Modern day Lebanese are pretty similar to the people who lived there a few thousand years ago, but in places like palestine, they have more in common with real peninsular arabs with a defent amount of Black thrown in.

The gene inflow after they left Italy came mostly from Slavs though -- probabnly because they used to own a shit load of Slavic slaves for hundereds of years.
Cenral / eastern europe was much more blended between slavs and germans before WWI and WWII. |

A mix of Jews from various locations in the Mediterranean (from Spain, to North Africa, to Levant, etc) migrated to Italy, took Italian wives, then went up north into Germany, mixed with other groups of Jews that were already in europe, and then generally moved east where some of the guys took Slavic wives (and some of the guys got cucked by Slavic men). |
