He is in the Joe Rogan ecosystem and had a guest on to defend the Bell Curve. He has never entertained any woke BS except someone probably pointed out 99% of his guests were white men so he has tried to book a few women and minorities (like the RZA). He is danger of cancellation at the drop of the hat when a mainstream hit piece is green lit, which should give you an idea of what's side he is on.
I agree he is inarticulate but he has good guests and asks good questions. He needs to talk less like any good interviewer. I think he should also try harder to circle back to the original topic of discussion when a guest goes down a tangent--a lot of good questions never really get answered.
He is obviously not a race realist anti-semitic accelerationist or whatever. Hence xo conflicted. |

I agree the secret sauce is the guests and the topics which go to some fundamental questions (he brings up stuff like AI, intelligence, consciousness, death, aliens, meaning of life in almost every podcast). He may be not that smart and grasping at straws but he is trying to find some answers. The other guy in that vein Curt Jaimungal is interesting too but more technical and sometime the zoom format is a problem. |
