In reality, I feel jealous of them. Sure, they may have to dig deep to come up with rent, but they got to spend their 20s (and later) floating around, accountable to no one, doing whatever they desired. It’s not my fault they are suffering the trade offs now, and it’s not like having money is that great anyways. I wish I had never had the expectations of greatness foisted upon me and I was free to be a community college grad. |
