Date: June 27th, 2022 1:11 PM Author: harsh razzmatazz state macaca you're looking at a very narrow part of human history which even still, believe it or not, had a few advantages over today (people went outside/went places and exercised their bodies instead of wasting away, women weren't used up sluts, there was a stronger sense of community, the world was full of wonder, it wasn't full of easily accessible crap to blow out your dopamine receptors, etc.). obviously there was a lot of fucked up shit, but people weren't getting tortured left and right. it was mostly criminals, heretics and the mentally ill, who probably should still be tortured today.
but back to my central point: human civilization has only been around for 6000 years and more like ~1000 years on average. that's like 1% of human history. i didn't mean just recorded history. |
