buddy i know just yesterday was telling me at his smalllaw office that he's a partner at where he is the prime rainmaker that they're having a meeting this week to decide whether he gets like 40% of the work he's generated. he's kept the place afloat and the two geriatric partners don't really make any money and don't want to give it to him. he's threatening to bail with his book and they seem lukewarm, if non-plussed about it. whole shit seems weird, having to beg old men to get less than half of what you make.
