That's not taking into account inflation. All insurance is based on Medicare. My salary is +2% this yr which is obviously net neg and only possible to pretend its + because the hospital has other fees where it makes $ and I cover my salary by doing way more rvus than drs 20 yrs ago. But it's true you pay much more for entering the ER and sitting in a waiting room.
