Huge, expensive, multi-purpose developments with open concept courtyard feel on the inside, parking on the exterior, and all order of high-end restaurant and spaces for tiny little boutiques (which obviously exist only for money laundering) and soaring up above it all are these 10+ story apartment buildings. See these going up everywhere. So it's not just building out and putting up strip malls and throwing in a Cheddar's or a Texas Roadhouse. It's a tale of two Americas. Of the rich, who have funds from surreptitious and likely undocumented sources, and everyone else, who is a fucking sheep. |

It’s not uncommon in Florida for condos to be so far in the red that every condo-owner needs to pay like $200k in assessment per unit just for standard upkeep. If you mortgaged that property and got hit with that assessment, that would be hard to come up with. Even if it’s $250k per 10 years you have to pay, that’s still like $2k a month that needs to be taken out. It’s insane. You can see this in the price of condos too. When the building is brand new they want millions. When the building is 20 years old the monthly assessment is so high the prices plummet. Developers are long gone and paid. Condo owners are fucked and holding the proverbial bag of odorous excrement. |

- storage units - tire shop - car wash - express oil change - Aldi
These are the businesses that seem to be guaranteed money printers and are still proliferating everywhere in my own local suburban hellscape |
