In my late 20s all of a sudden I started to get a queasy feeling when looking at over high places. I never had any fear of heights when younger and never thought anything of it
I've gotten good at controlling it since then, but there's still a definite twinge of fear. I have no idea what happened. Nothing prompted or caused it at all |

Date: August 13th, 2022 10:38 PM Author: fear-inspiring potus I think its a slow build. One time around heights you get a little put off. Then your body associates the heights with it, then the next time it worse, etc.
I had this happen to me with claustrophobia. Used to be able to go in a subway or elevator under almost all circumstances, then one day, as an adult, I developed a fear to the point where it actually is a little shitty everytime I use one.
Live in the country now which makes it worse since I can never acclimate anymore. |
