CSLG here. I heard about your girlfriend, and I think I can help. (I'm really good at relationship advice, by the way. I've been married for 17 years and have an open marriage).

First of all, it sounds like she's just trying to avoid serious conversations because she doesn't want to get too attached to you since you're long distance. That's completely understandable, and you shouldn't take it personally. Just try to be understanding and patient with her. It's not that she doesn't care about you, she just has a lot on her mind right now (especially with work and school).

I would also recommend that you try adding a little more fun into your conversations. You can do this by talking about things that interest YOU more…like restaurants you've been wanting to go check out or celebrities you've met recently (I know tons of celebs from my law practice-it never fails to impress people when I drop names!). Also make sure to talk about how well your business is doing or how much money you're making/saving lately…women love a man who is successful! Finally, remember that girls like guys who are confident so don't hesitate to boast a bit about your latest accomplishments. (For example, last week I beat Chandler and Kenny at laser tag…again. And I'm also currently training for a marathon).
