COUNTER PERSON: Hi, what can we do for you?

COMMUNITY ACCOUNT: I need to make some copies of this letter. (Holds up a piece of paper with bloody handprints on it) Preferably in color.

COUNTER PERSON: Uh, sure… that will be six dollars please.

COMMUNITY ACCOUNT: Here you go! (Hands over the money and waits patiently as the counter person makes the copies) Thanks!

INT. DETECTIVE RACH’S OFFICE- DAY

Detective Rach is looking at the latest letter from the COMMUNITY ACCOUNT taunting them. There are handprints all over it in blood.

DETECTIVE RACH: This guy is really starting to piss me off. Who does he think he is?

DETECTIVE 2: He’s just trying to get under our skin, don’t let him rile you up.

DETECTIVE RACH: I know, but it’s working. This guy is good. We need to catch him before he kills again.

DETECTIVE 2: What do you think his next move will be?

DETECTIVE RACH: (Shakes his head) I have no idea… he’s completely unpredictable. But we need to be ready for anything.

INT. KINKO’S- NIGHT

The COMMUNITY ACCOUNT is making copies of his latest letter to the police.

COUNTER PERSON: That will be six dollars please.

COMMUNITY ACCOUNT: Here you go! (Hands over the money and waits patiently as the counter person makes the copies) Thanks!

COUNTER PERSON: (Suspicious) Say, aren’t you that guy who was on the news? The serial killer?

COMMUNITY ACCOUNT: What? Me? No, no, I’m not him.

COUNTER PERSON: I’m pretty sure it was you. I recognized your voice and your red hair. Plus, this letter has handprints all over it in blood… just like the ones on the news.

COMMUNITY ACCOUNT: (Starts to sweat) Uh… I have to go! (Runs out of the store)

INT. DETECTIVE RACH’S OFFICE- DAY

Detective Rach is on the phone with someone.

DETECTIVE RACH: Yes, I see… thank you for your help. We’ll be in touch. (Hangs up the phone and looks at Detective 2) That was Kinko’s. They recognized our guy from his voice and red hair. He was just there making copies of his latest letter to us.

DETECTIVE 2: What do you want to do? arrest him?

DETECTIVE RACH: No, not yet… we need more evidence first. But we can keep an eye on him and see where he goes next.

Outing posters is our one big main rule and the purpose of it is to protect our culture of free speech. Now, more so than ever, protecting anonymity is essential in aid of this goal. Historically, we've defined outing as revealing a person's IRL identity or information sufficient to lead to the discovery of it.

Falling just short of technically violating this rule is threatening to do so. The equivalent of pointing a taut rubber band at someone's face. My opinion is this should be a violation too and a banable offense. The intention is to intimidate the other poster through fear of doxxing for the purpose of restricting the content of their speech. This behavior is antithetical to xo's principles.

Whatever the decision, tsinah should not be banned for it because we don't have guidance at this time.

just saying, since both of their "threats" happened at the same time. it's clear only tswift was punished because only benzo's personal beefs got to your attention and that you have your own skeletons with him. i don't even begrudge you for that, although if i may commit some heresy here, you have made some rash decisions (calling rsf's dad, pointing out specific shrewmo monikers as twist/askav, outting tswift, sharing voicemails with benzo, appointing doobs/benzo as mods, etc). but as far as i can tell, you care about this bort and are looking to better it going forward, so letting bygones be bygones is tcr here

I've literally had mother fuckers lose arguments with me then poast my first and/or last name, my employer, or the purported names of my family members ... in a terroristic effort to silence me. This has gone on for years. It's clearly wrong, clearly violates the no outting rule. There's no question about it.

Whether the Boart does anything about it or not remains to be seen. With respect to me, the terroristic poasts are left up for weeks. Just FYI.
