Took him to tennis practice on this rainy day, then dentists appointment. He had two cavities that need to be fixed and he also had a loose baby tooth pulled. Kid complained and said he didn’t want to see it and could we drop him off at church youth club and we said no and he came with us and watched it and said he liked it. At one point when he was totally engrossed in the movie I threw a piece of popcorn at him and he looked over and I pointed up like it was one of the things that fell from the monster and he frowned and shook his head at me. |

If it is rained out we’ll shoot some hoops and then get cheeseburgers at this awesome place in the mall.
Kid had a field trip to the state fair on Friday last but it got cancelled because of this damn rainstorm.
I would take him to see the Michelangelo exhibit but it’s sold out for today. I’ll check my work calendar and maybe we can go during the week.
I have to go to nyc in a couple weeks for work. |

I did a lot of research on the movie beforehand. It is just barely R--frankly i dont know why it is R rated except for some weed smoking and at one point the monster empties some half digested blood down onto the house. It wasnt even really scary--just exciting and mysterious mostly
As for the cavities, yeah, too much soda. We are supervising that now much closer. The bad thing is that my kid would see me drinking a beer and liked the idea of "rootbeer" because it had the word beer in it and he wants to be like me so there you go. |
