Rypien doubled Dilfer's Pro Bowls and was a 2nd Team All-Pro once whereas Dilfer never even sniffed that. He was also the Super Bowl MVP. Dilfer: not.

You're probably right, but it's really damn close between him and Eli Manning. Dilfer took an all-time great team to the finish without fucking it up, and Eli rode a hot post-season team without fucking it up and benefitted from the greatest freak catch ever in the SB. Eli had better offense, Dilfer had better defense.
