There isn't even a transmission, just this planetary gear doohicky. The Prius is a mature design that offers a lot of utility in a small package and it's no less comfortable than a hybrid Camry anymore. You can still put aftermarket head units in them and for <$1000 u can have a system that sounds better than the premium sound systems in much more expensive cars.
I think it's also good to have a car no one notices or will ever remember. No one in the ghetto will bother you for change and yours will be the last car they scope out when looking for one on the block to rob. |
