The schedule I have been on is to push for 84 hours, and I’ve done that for several weeks in a row.
Feeling a little off today and I have dinner ready. I could just end this one at 60 and then go back to my 84 schedule starting tomorrow.
Obviously not going to go overboard with a refeed. Just eating lots of veggies and a little protein. Just ending this fast a little short. 60 instead of 84.
Thoughts?
Am I weak?
Am I a loser?
Should I just suck it up and wait another day?

I decided to refeed. I am losing my ability to tolerate the electrolyte water after a month of this. Need to keep on the path and make it sustainable.
Dinner is cabbage soup I made with leek, yellow onion, celery, green bell pepper, red bell pepper, shallot, garlic, ground beef, roasted tomato, roasted habenero, roasted poblano, black pepper, thyme, rosemary, oregano, salt, carrots, cabbage, pinto beans, mushroom, topped with cilantro and fresh sliced jalapeño.

No bro I haven’t commented on any of your weight threads yet but I’m legit worried you’re going to die
You need to eat every day
Don’t worry about losing eight pounds a week. That’s a recipe for disaster since it gets harder and harder to drop weight as time progresses
Consider every week you lose weight an accomplishment

I think it’s far healthier to eat in the manner I have adopted than my past practices. It shows on the scale. It shows in my blood. Less inflammation which is a game changer for me. Healthier gut micro biome OFS.
Still a lot of pounds to shed. I guess tonight has taught me to be more careful about electrolytes. If you get low you start feeling bad. Simple as that.
I also had some pickles and peanuts for dinner.

I lifted 5 days this week. I felt like crap on Thursday, which was after I refed. I think I didn’t eat enough honestly.
Friday was okay, not great, but I made it through.
Cardio has been slowly improving.
I can do like 10 consecutive push-ups now. Up from like 1 or 2 a month ago.

Even your response misses a huge piece of the weight loss puzzle.
It’s not JUST what you eat and how much, it’s WHEN you eat. Both are hugely important.
Also, WHEN you eat is correlated strongly with how much you eat because you’re eating fewer times at intervals that are farther apart.
WHEN you eat is also correlated with what you eat, because it’s 1000x easier to eat 10 really healthy, nutrient dense meals a month than it is to eat 100 of those meals. It’s just not that hard if you cut down the number of mealtimes.
These are real world practical applications of why counting calories and trying to stay on the eating all day long treadmill just doesn’t work for fat people.

I keep telling you this but you never reply.
Fuck these stupid diets.
Get your testosterone levels checked. I bet you're below 400.
If so, get on TRT injections.
Your mood will improve and the fat will come off.

Fasting actually slows fat loss:
https://twitter.com/nutrition_facts/status/1619440287209734144?s=46&t=i-EDVObDvByImmvpHxeJZA
Fasting obviously causes consistent, dramatic weight loss, but how do fasted individuals do long-term? Some research groups reported extremely disappointing results. Here’s what they saw. Average subject started out at about 270 pounds and, in the six months before the fast, continued to gain weight as obese persons tend to do. Then, after 24 days of what they called “inpatient starvation,” a dramatic 27-pound weight loss. Then what do you think happened? They gained it all back and more, though one could argue if they had not fasted, they might have been up around here at that point.
In another study with follow-ups ranging up to 50 months, only 4 out of 25 so-called “superobese” patients achieved even partial sustained success. Based on these kinds of data, some investigators concluded that “complete starvation is of no value in the long-term treatment of obese patients.”

Unlike the majority here, I'm not going to tell you to stop fasting if it's working for you, but you need to be less rigid about this for a few reasons.
- fasting will eventually slow your metabolism to the point that it makes further weight loss difficult. This point will probably come before you're where you want to be, and you need to be prepared to adapt to this and change strategies when that time comes.
- if you're feeling ill, as you were last night, you need to have the maturity to eat something (without gorging). You also are being unrealistic in thinking you'll just extend the next fast to make up for it. What convinced you that's viable, given how this one went? Accept that there are limits to the time you can productively fast, and adjust your plan based on that.
- 8lb/week is unsustainable in the long-term, and if you don't understand that, you don't understand physiology. It's retarded to kill yourself in an effort to sustain that past the point where it's possible. You need to have the maturity to develop healthy habits that will make your weight loss permanent. Enjoy those numbers while you can, but understand that eventually it will slow to 1lb/week, and you will need to be consistent in a few different areas to finish getting to where you want to be.
- I suspect that when you still have about 40-50 pounds to lose, your weight loss will slow down and you will need to increase exercise to maintain a good deficit. That's going to make fasting borderline impossible. You also will have to do a lot of work to rehab your metabolism after extensive fasting. If fasting drops 70lb for you, that may well be a worthwhile cost, but understand that you will eventually need to develop a more sustainable eating and exercise regimen.

I have been doing that. I salted my soup last night with potassium chloride and table salt to get some extra potassium.
Soup was olive oil, leeks, yellow onion, celery, green bell pepper, red bell pepper, carrots, tomatoes (canned), cabbage, carrots, pinto beans, habenero pepper, poblano pepper, jalapeño pepper, cilantro, rosemary, thyme, oregano, garlic, shallot, ground beef.
Then I had some pinto beans on the side with a little sweet potato and onion.
A couple pickles.
Dessert was 2 oranges and an apple.
So eating super clean.

im sure you know how to make a ribeye or eggs with butter.
you dont really have to make anything though. cole robinson even promoted a "just eat spam & pickles" diet. i tried a similar thing with uncured hot dogs and sauerkraut(plenty of vitamin c there) and it worked great.

down 60+ pounds? That's 180
still you should think about something more sustainable, like gastric bypass.
