Ideally you want to be hitting the checkouts at about 8:40. that's late enough for the store to be fairly quiet but early enough to have a cute high school girl as your cashier. Also there's often an odd rush at the checkouts right at 9, so you avoid that delay.

Wild it's normal in the US to drive miles to the store, and then lug your month's worth of provisions in your SUV back down the dual carriageway. |
