Second, aside from the propaganda victory, if this offensive goes anywhere at all, it basically forces Russia to move troops off of the front lines in Ukraine to stop this offensive. As it is right now, this small group of RDK soldiers could march straight to Moscow if Russia doesn't do something to stop them. And any Russian troops that are defending Belgorod are not defending the Donbas.
