- taking a busy street with no shoulder even though you are riding for leisure. Ride somewhere else. There's no reason to hold up traffic or create a dangerous situation unnecessarily.
- Not obeying traffic laws like stopping and stop signs and red lights. You want cars to share the road, then obey the laws.
- not properly signaling turns.
I am a big proponent of cyclists riding on the roads, but make no mistake, the roads exist for motorized vehicles and cyclists are guests. They should behave in a courteous manner. |
