I don't see any GOP path to Presidential victory in 2024

Tell me how Georgia and Arizona are ever going red again? Trump had to have gotten every last conceivable voter in those states already. If you weren't going to vote for him then why would that change?
GOP cannot keep up with the growth of major cities which are mostly minorities and left wing nutcases. The Right isn't exactly churning out babies in rural MAGAstan. No one can keep up with shitlib urban minorities in their rate of population growth. It's literally two lost cowboys in the desert trying to save the country against hordes of urban mud people who are expanding exponentially.
The only counter argument is that you have Governors Kemp and Youngkin whatever at the state level but they're mostly RINOs and don't play national politics well.
Simply put GOP will never overcome the Dem numbers. Michigan and Pennsylvania have gotten steadily bluer. It's sad but the country is now Mexico and will never return to its former glory. |

lastly -- potus doesn't matter anyway unless they have the balls for abusing the power of potus for big changes or if they get enough seats in congress to pass massive policy. from the first trump term we saw that trump doesn't have the will to wield potus, and it's unlikely the GOP will have as many seats in 2025 as it did in 2017. so, although i think trump has a good shot of winning (probably better than biden if it was help today), even if it happens i don't think anything will change. |

Understandable, but it prevents any honest reckoning of what Trump really accomplished or what he stands to accomplish going forward. It's as simple as that. All the data and evidence shows that people vote according to race, gender, and location. It has nothing to do with how people feel about a candidate. You're making it seem like most voters have any type of thoughts at all. They don't.
Go to any city and tell me there aren't nappy headed negroes and beaners everywhere. That's who are in major cities. Shit, Los Angeles whites are a minority. Now if I told you that the population of Atlanta was 1.5 billion people and the rest of rural Georgia was 10 people you wouldn't have to do any type of analysis on voter opinion. Now that extreme example can be reduced to real life numbers but we're still talking about a major metro with millions of nappy headed negroes running around voting 90%+ Democrat and you have white rural Georgians who aren't increasing in population at all.
So what does it matter if people get finnicky about Biden and want change? Who are these 'people' who are going to change their minds about the direction of the country? They're not. Georgia is probably lost, if not by 2024, in the long term. The demographics are really bad for the GOP. It's 33% black and another 15-20% mystery meat. No point in GOP investing in this state long term. Disagree about Arizona though. It's a moderate state that will continue to be a battleground for a long time, especially if GOP improves slightly with Hispanics.

Yes but not every state has a big city in it. There are lots of states the GOP loses that are more suburban in nature that the GOP needs to try to become competitive again in. Like Virginia, New Hampshire, Maine.

They aren't RINOs but they are outliers. Youngkin is a billionaire who won because he pumped a ton of money in, and still he only won by 1%. It still shows that with the right messaging you can win a state like Virginia.

The sad truth that you probably won't want to hear is that GOP policy positions are wildly out of touch with the center of the country. Especially on abortion, but that's just one example. The easiest way for the GOP to become competitive again, at least in terms of the national popular vote overall, is to moderate its positions on abortion, gays, guns, and minority stuff. |

The GOP is too far socially conservative to ensnare those 'moderate' voters. RINO types are not going to ever win the primary so it's moot. But back to my larger point trying to win a national election by a small margin by pivoting away from social conservatism to get a bunch of moderate Northerners on board is not the way. It's just ceding the country. That's bowing to lib nonsense and admitting defeat.
The demographic problems are by far the biggest issue. GOP cannot overcome muds. Catering to the 1% fence sitters is not how you restore America. Maybe things have to get worse before they get better but those moderates are assholes and if they don't want the country to die maybe they shouldn't literally vote for Joe Biden and hold their nose and elect a real conservative. |

These "swing voters in exurbs" aren't actually swing voters at all. A lot of those exurban areas "swung" because they have seen huge population shifts, rapid diversification and libs moving out from the central city to farther out suburbs due to cost of living. This is basically what's going on in the farther out suburbs of Atlanta. |
