I can’t believe I spent so many years just going home, just going through the motions. I need my 45 mins to an hour to sweat. It helps reset me and helps the anxiety, although that’s still pretty bad. Alcohol is poison and exercise is some kind of antidote, but my left eyelid still twitches pretty bad.

4-5 strength training exercises per day. Push-ups, pull-ups, dips, back rows, lat pull down, squats or leg press, shoulder press. Some of those. And then, I do either 35 min on the bike or 35 min on incline treadmill.

If you work a sedentary job, then you really need 3 hours at the gym per day to stay healthy

I can't fit in 3 hours though.

I give up 3 hours (minimum) to commute.

10-12 hours to work.

2 hours to childcare.

6 hours to sleep.

1 hour flex. 1 hour flex is workout + childcare.

I cannot cut either. I get home and my wife literally glares at me and says help with the children. I cannot do it. I can only do what I can do. I take care of EVERYTHING financial. Everything. The bills, the worrying, the moving money around, the financial planning for the future, funding home repairs (which are never ending). I really need her to manage the children who just seem to scream at me. She keeps letting them run around like wild indians though. Her approach to parenting is kind of crazy. Like she lets them play in the tub instead of getting washed. Who does that? They just play, splash water around everywhere, including onto the tile, which ruins the subfloor of the bathroom, and then they complain and don't wash themselves.

When I was a kid I would have been boxed about the ears for wasting water if I wasn't in and out in 120 seconds.

I just did. But it's still like 45+ minutes away. Right now, to manage childcare and repairs on the other house that I still own, I am spending several hours in the car per day and it is really taking a toll.

Just get up and walk a little every 60-90 minutes. Longer walk at lunch. Stretch a little. Maybe rip out some navy seals behind your desk if you’re feeling frisky. It’s nbd.

When others in my office go to lunch, that's when I do my pushups. I've been trying to get through hundredpushups.com program, but I have been stuck on weeks 3 and 4 for a month now. Just trying to power through.

Just did 2500 feet on thr versaclimber in 14 minutes. Averaging a pretty high rate. Breathing like crazy and soaked with sweat. Does this basically do nothing for me being that it’s so short

I am sure that it's fine. 14 mins is a little low for cardio, I think you should probably do less intensity and go for 20-25 mins instead, but it's a lot better than nothing. You're probably fine. Ideal would be 20+ mins though. But this is way better than what a lot of folks do and they are plenty healthy.
