I work 12 hour shifts, 5 days a week, then 4-5 days off. Sometimes effectively 3-4 days off since my day off includes the sleep after finishing a night shift….

The work is thankless and retarded. Moving low quality CN goods among other plastic Chinese crap around and loading it into trucks using forklifts and also a roller system

The nightmare is the system. It’s ancient and on its last legs but GC can’t afford one second of downtime replacing it so we’re forced to just make it work (they’ll probably shitcan us all if this thing conks out + forces 6 months of replacement downtime at this unit)

Everyday I get to work and it’s chaos. Dozens of trucks to load. Like 500k tonnes of bullshit to move around, crazy bosses, 15 minute turnaround to get shit done for planes waiting on stand etc. I am in ducking hell

It’s one way too. So if you want anything it has to be pulled out one by one. And yet no one wants to acknowledge this fact and they all act like it’s possible to just teleport giant 5 tonne squares around at will. Breaks constantly. Just losing my mind here. This is the shortest explanation but basically I’m playing a giant game of sliding puzzle everyday being yelled at by 5 different boss pricks (none of which get their hands dirty) I literally had 5 guys watching me run around like a headless chicken using various controls to move things (there are like 6 sets of controls for each quadrant to move shit, they just watch and act haughty as if you’re a fucking moron so they can blame you when shits late etc) they could easily help but they’d rather be bosspricks naturally

There just aren’t any chill gigs anymore. If you work at a movie theatre it’s like 20k usd a year or something and you get fired after 3 months for No Reason imho. Unskilled livable wage jobs are rare and like mine, usually involve massive amounts of stress, physical and or mental.

Anything that’s chill pays teenager wages. I’m trapped in hell. I’m also just smart enough to grasp just how dumb I am and the life I’m locked out of due to not having a degree or the ability to code or whatever else. Look if you're white and not ugly/short and 115+ IQ it's really easy to get a job that isn't shitty and pays a decent wage. You need to look for and apply to those jobs and introduce yourself to the owner. You need to stop even bothering with shitty slave jobs if you're not a slave
