Does "other valuables" include coins?

Islamic dinars/taris are an interesting field and highly undervalued relative to their rarity.

Yes. I like to flick it around and play with it. Also cutting things from time to time. It does not. Modern pocket knives are pretty slender. I don't find that i even notice its in my pocket.

i was curious so i looked it up myself

401ks: 713k to 1012k

Other retirement accounts: 46.3k to 70k

Brokerage: 133k to 274k

Cash: 96k to 217k

Crypto & Equity from startup I used to work at (previously valued at 25k but turned out to be worthless): 138k to 136k (excluding equity starting point was 113k)

College fund: 65k to 112k

Home equity: 626k to 824k

lol ok so this is retarded gain, u must have max's ur 401k with comp max to go from 713k to 1012k when nasdaq only increased 5% unless u went all in on like FB or something

home equity is kike flame

so most of ur gain is just 401k and equity

and u arent discussing ur income and how much u save from income each year

yeah we max 401k and roth every year and get generous matches from our companies

my company has an insane espp program where i get 15% off, that's an high annual compounded growth if you do the math

we both also get stock from our companies each year

home equity isn't flame if you plan to sell that motherfucker in retirement and go live in the south of france for cheap, or give it to your kids

income last year was 650k

Home equity is not an "asset" if you are using said home for the consumptive purpose of sheltering your self and personal property hth but congrats, I make 113k per year at the age of 33

that's not how it works. it's a part of net worth but not retirement savings. should you also not count your mortgage against your debts when you calculate net worth?

it's also highly subjective, i.e. good argument for including it if you plan to sell your house and move to a rural area when the kids are grown, vs. if you're hellbent on spending your dying days in your current home.

My net worth has also done well, but to be honest, it is still a net loss because overall job security has gone down across the board and costs for everything have skyrocketed. I'd rather have less but feel safer and more stable.
