I'm very fond of Tales from the Crypt since I love the source material; I think it has the best segments on a standalone basis but Asylum actually has a compelling wraparound

Tales from the Crypt is alright, though they are morality plays which is a common trap horror falls into. I like my horror bleak and nihilistic.
