but that wishful thinking aside, as a matter of fact it's very rare for someone his age and with his mentality to do some sort of 180. i have very little empathy for him. it's similar to how i feel about criminals getting punished -- i hope they get better, but they deserve what's happening. i don't think there's anything unchristian or unvirtuous about justice. spaceporn probably was ruthlessly bullied as a kid, and while that might explain his behavior and help people empathize with him, it doesnt' excuse it.

What's crazy about Communist societies is they were all run by petty bullies who were on a revenge plot.
