Wouldn't have to be a very advanced or powerful AI system to recognize that those 5 armored vehicles headed in a particular direction near the front are an enemy attack. Cheap drone swarms with AI surveillance and targeting could allow us to take over countries with minimal human casualties and maintain control at little cost. An insurgency couldn’t get off the ground if you had all the intel run through AI clusters to categorize the population for targeting.
